This demanding role for a top 5 star hotel with over 200 rooms in Hertfordshire requires a candidate with at least 18 months previous sales or events management experience in hotels. The events department has two teams that manage different aspects of each event. You will be part of the first team which takes initial enquiries and converts them into sales with contracts which are then handed to the second team to organise. Your aim is to sell the facilities of the hotel in a professional manner, to act as an ambassador of the hotel and efficiently co-ordinate customer events through excellent skills whilst, ensuring maximum occupancy and maximum profitability from all events that take place. This sales focused role requires motivation, confidence, excellent organisational skills and event management ability.
